South Carolina is vulnerable to tropical storms, flooding, tornados, fires, and earthquakes among other events. To sustain lactation during disasters, lactating families need support. South Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition, as part of its mission to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding has newly included on its website resources for parents and the first responders, shelter personnel, lactation support providers, and healthcare providers who support them.
