Jenny Huggins Rubin,
MS, CCC-SLP
Jenny Huggins Rubin, MS, CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with specialized expertise in feeding, swallowing, and airway disorders in infants and medically complex children. Her clinical experience spans high-acuity medical environments across the United States, including the PICU, Level IV NICU, PCICU, step-down units, and interdisciplinary outpatient clinics. At the Medical University of South Carolina, Jenny serves as a Pediatric Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist III and associate clinical faculty member, providing advanced dysphagia assessment, including Modified Barium Swallow Studies, and contributing to clinical education for graduate students. She serves as a rater for Dr. Heather Bonilha’s Swallowing and Voice Observation & Research (SAVOR) Lab at the University of South Carolina. She co-developed the institution’s Nasogastric Tube (NGT) NICU Discharge Program and collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary care team to support safe and developmentally appropriate feeding practices. Jenny is actively pursuing IBCLC certification, with a professional focus on optimizing breastfeeding and maternal–infant support for medically complex populations. Originally from Colorado, she enjoys exploring new cities with her husband and their two dogs.
