Mary Elizabeth Klopp

DO, MS, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellow

Dr. Mary Elizabeth Klopp is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of neonatology at Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. Her professional interests include legislative advocacy, medical education, and, of course, breastfeeding medicine. In conjunction with her IBCLC colleagues, Dr. Klopp has developed a NICU focused breastfeeding curriculum for residents and has presented her research on optimizing Mother's Own Milk production of mothers of very preterm infants at regional and national conferences alike. Outside of medicine she enjoys spoiling her two chocolate labs, scratch cooking, marathon running, and is learning hunter jumper style riding as an adult.
